Asuu Strike Update
Following attempt by State Universities to break up the strike and resume academic activities, they are mobilizing for mass recruitment of lecturers from the federal universities to back the planned resumption. Their staff are resisting breaking the strike and this explains why they want to capitalize on the vulnerability of the staff of federal universities to serve as visiting lecturers.
The ASUU National is vehemently opposed to our members participating in this plan as it constitutes violation of the seven months strike and sabotaging our collective struggle.
Specifically, Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero has gone far in wooing our members in to this.
Members are, by this information, warned against participating in this infamous recruitment as this is capable of jeopardizing our collective resolve in the struggle for better educational system and improvement of our wages.
