Unlike selling physical products where you have to fulfil the order each time a customer purchases, digital products are downloaded automatically by the customer immediately after purchase. So each time you receive an order, you don’t have to do anything. Here are 5 digital products that can get you passive income:
1.) Templates ( Google Docs/Sheets)
Pretty much everybody has a Google account and it is super easy to create templates in the form of documents and spreadsheets that you can share with other people that need them as tools. Templates save people a lot of time and that is why they are so profitable.
So for example, let’s say you are a writer who’s really good at what you do, there are a lot of people who are terrible at writing and might need your assistance. You can create templates in Google docs that people can purchase from you and use as a guide when they write.
Everyone has different skill sets, so it is important that you create templates based on what you are good at. Incase you are questioning what you can create, here’s a few ideas for you:
think of Instagram captions – if you are really good with social media and you are good with writing captions for your posts, if you are really good with email Marketing, resume and cover letters templates, calendar checklists and trackers and invoices.
2.) Digital Journal Bundles
Specifically for manifestation, healing and law of attraction, I noticed that not only are they super popular, but shop owners are charging more for them and people are buying them.
These are very easy to make using Canva. Just start a new project and create multiple pages you can design your own journal on and save it as a pdf that customers can purchase and download. I sell printable cards for manifestation and law of attraction and they are currently the most popular items in my shop. So I know firsthand that people want products like these.
3.) Workbooks
This is a very helpful digital product that people can use to complete specific tasks and achieve specific goals. Once again think of what you are skilled at and what problems you’ve been able to solve for yourself. I’ve seen workbooks for self-love and confidence, fitness and nutrition, workbooks for small business owners that help them with their branding and social media.
You can include sections for checklists, trackers, goal-setting and offer them prompts throughout your workbook.

4.) Digital Art Bundles
You can create your own artwork and sell it digitally so that the customers can download and print it from their home or at a local printing store. If you want to sell a digital artwork, I highly recommend bundling three to six pieces together so that it increases the price per order. This is also a really fun digital product business that you can get super creative with.
You can create unique artwork on platforms like procreate, Adobe illustrator or photoshop or you can literally sell quotes in beautiful fonts and offer them in a bundle.
5.) Video contents
Video contents like tutorials to walk people through specific tasks. This is where you want to hone in on your passions and your skills that you can monetize – get paid to teach something that you are good at.
The great thing about offering tutorials and mini courses is that people tend to pay more for them because they yield a better result than offer let’s say a document with instructions. Everyone is skilled at something they can teach, here’s a few example for you that you can think about:
- Makeup tutorial
- Recipe videos
- Workouts
- Social media tutorial
- Productivity tips, I can go on and on.
